The business started off as an 'event management company' that hosted the first HomeX Expo in 1999 in Pretoria and Rustenburg.He has put to work his comprehensive marketing and advertising experience and expertise, which he gained during his active involvement in the home improvement industry since 1991. This annual exhibition grew in popularity due to its affordability and excellence. With the exception of 2003 and 2004, the exposition was ever since hosted in Pretoria on an annual basis. In October 2004 this Company was launched into the market place as a revolutionary marketing and advertising medium that consists of: • A printed publication • A website, and • An annual exhibition. EMERGING AS A MARKET LEADER At this early stage, the HomeX concept has already differentiated itself in the market place as more superior than any other similar services offered by competitors. We offer a magnificent advancement on the old orthodox methods of advertising in which this industry was moulded by the so-called market leaders, by making use of modern communication technology. What's more, we offer these advanced advertising services at a much reduced rate. As competitors, including those who are in the market for many many years, start to follow in our footsteps, we continually keep abreast with advances in technology and our customer's changing needs in order to remain ahead of our competitors in offering the best possible service. WHY HOMEX? - STAGGERING ACHIEVEMENTS We are proud and truly grateful to all our valued and loyal customers (advertisers) who enabled us to reach unseen achievements in this industry. Here are only a few milestones that we achieved IN OUR FIRST YEAR OF PUBLISHING: • Introduced a 36-page first edition publication and maintained growth. • Currently enjoy a 100% contract renewal. • Managed to keep 91% of our initial advertisers. • Bought and moved into our own office building. However, the success that our advertisers experienced in their businesses since they started to advertise with HomeX, are considered our greatest achievement - they are witness to the great success that we had, and still have, the privilege to enjoy.
